Presenters may wish to display sources other than their screen ie) Document camera. In installed room (classroom/training) there is a room system that controls what is displayed locally. Why not enable any source in the room to be shared to the meeting? Additionally, for "wireless workflows" where presenters only connect to a wireless display - this is a burdensome task of launching wireless display client and THEN the WebEx client to share. Also, your competition has this feature and it is very handy.
