Transfer out of WxC Auto Attendant to unknown extension

When calling into Webex Calling Auto Attendants, you can't transfer to numbers that aren't built in Control Hub. Even if you build a virtual extension at the org level it still doesn't recognize the number as a valid extension to transfer to. It should search for dial plan matches at the least. Since you have to pick a location for the AA, it should also look at the internal dialing rules for that location.

If you want to transfer calls to a PSTN number outside the org, you can use an in-org extension and combine them with features like Single Number Reach or Forward calls to a PSTN Number

Customers always have reasons to transfer out of their environment to the PSTN. Let's say there is a mobile remote sales team that prefer to receive calls on their mobile number. Also, there are companies that have relationships with external partners. They want to provide a call-in number to make you think you are being serviced by the company but instead they are passing those calls off to a 3rd party. They are more than happy to be a middle man and take two call legs to provide that functionality to the end caller.

Please elaborate on the use case where Auto Attendant is needed to transfer calls outside the org.
