Attendees Self Select Breakout Sessions

I'd like to create Breakout Sessions but let attendees choose the topic that interests them. So, attendees can enter and leave breakouts at will.

It seems the breakouts are currently locked once they are started with only the host allowed to move around.

Strong demand in education. Competition (Zoom) ahead...

People should be able to pick from all the available break out rooms on their own and join and leave whichever room they want when they want during the meeting... Ex: would be to create a conference style environment where multiple people are making presentations in various rooms and you can go in and out of those rooms based on your interest...

This is desperately needed for Agile events where we will not select team members for breakouts ahead of time and where there are too many to do so on the fly. Self-select should be an option we can toggle.

We are having business units push to move from WebEx to the other platforms that support this feature.

Absolutely essential for a "conference" style meeting.

We really just need to integrate the Breakout options from Training into Meetings and that totally solves the issue.

Yes, I created a post on this. This functionality is a key component of Training platform but does not exist in Meetings. This places incredible logistical challenges to the meeting host and the ability to have a smooth and productive meeting with breakouts. Also, in Training, we are able to give attendees ability to create their own breakout sessions as well.

The workaround I came up with is a scary one. You can make all attendees a cohost and then they can freely move about into any Breakout Session. But they can now end all breakouts with one click and end the meeting as well!

We need something in between PLEASE!!!!

+100 -- this behavior is the analog to in-person conferences where you may find that the session you "signed up" for isn't what you thought -- so you go see what else is going on.
