WebEx Meetings: No Polling Coordinator is inconvenient

As an experienced WebEx Events Host, I always enjoyed the Polling Coordinator feature because I often deal with novice presenters. What I have noticed in WebEx Meetings, only the presenter can activate a poll.

Why does the Host no longer have the ability to open a poll?

If I have responsibility for polling for a presenter concentrating on his/her presentation, I must take back control and start the poll. If we are broadcasting in Speaker View, that creates a switch of camera view. I find this extremely inconvenient and unproductive. Please integrate the Polling Coordinator feature into Meetings for a better overall event.

I've read help articles that mention assigning a poll coordinator but that option doesn't exist. I'd really love it if it did since it would be extremely helpful to allow someone other than the presenter to administer the polls while the presenter continues talking, advancing slides, etc.

Please add this feature!! We use both events and meetings for different reasons. All of our meetings have cohosts and we would like cohosts the ability to be polling managers so they can run that part of the meeting while the host presents/asks questions, monitors comments etc.

Totally agree! We usually have a few co-hosts who manage the chatbox and other features so the presenter can just focus on presenting. Giving co-hosts the ability to manage polls will make meetings more interactive and easy to use.

This is really annoying, especially if you switch between the different Webex Products.

We just ran into this, confident that it works, just to find out that in Webex Meetings it's different to Webex Events.

Difficult to explain to even experienced users.....

Seconded! I've supported several meetings where it's been disruptive to the meeting flow to have the presenter responsible for both screenshare and polling. Ideally there would be an assignable and transferrable Polling Coordinator role, or if nothing else for all hosts / cohosts to be able to edit the polling panel, similar to how Breakout Rooms currently function in Webex Meetings.
