Control Hub User Management - Filter does not stick, allow filter to stick

when attempting to filter in control hub users, say i filter for support admin, if i look in one record, the filter is cleared. I had to update 50 accounts that were support admin and had to do this manually since it could not be bulked.
please allow when applying a filter that it stays until you click the 'reset filter'
why is there a reset if the filter does not stay?
