version control for whiteboards

Through Windows we are able to open previous versions of documents. Would like to find a way to be able to open previous versions of whiteboards. We had a team that spent about 10 hours building a whiteboard and adding to it within a meeting only to lose all content when someone accidentally deleted it. Even with the compliance role I was unable to retrieve the document. Would like to have version control to be able to retrieve lost work.
