According to this document: https://help.webex.com/en-us/article/5zw7v8/Call-a-Person's-Voicemail-Directly it is possible however, only with CFA and through transferred calls.
Customers that have deployed Webex Calling are continuing to reach out about the ability to call directly into voicemail as was available in CUCM and Unity for years.

Running into this same issues on deals where customers had this feature with competitive and lower cost solutions. This needs to be a standard feature without the need for using feature access codes

It is embarrassing that I had to tell my customer that the *55 +ext feature to transfer direct to voicemail does not work. Especially when you have an article claiming it does.

Confirming this only worked during a call transfer. When dialing *55+ext from the start, I'm told the call cannot be transferred.

I use this feature in CM/Unity to test voicemail and not bother the person. I was able to create a pattern in CallManager * followed by a person extension that would get me to voicemail. It has been helpful in the past.
