Consider modernizing Webex Meeting chat in the following ways:

• Support rich text, @mentions, emojis, feedback (likes, etc), and file attachment (suggested by others as individual ideas).

• Allow meeting hosts to create a Webex Space tied to the meeting for pre-meeting chat/file sharing, chat during the meeting, and post-meeting chat.

  • Chat-only capabilities in-meeting would be nice while attending from a room with a video system joined to the meeting.

  • The meeting host should be able to archive the meeting Space however they see fit.

Zoom and Microsoft Teams have similar functionality.
