Virtual lines on workspace phones

the usefulness of virtual lines is limited greatly by the inability to assign them to a workspace phone.

I am wondering what the workaround for this is. We have multiple devices at our Library that are not assigned to people and roaming staff need access to a number of shared lines. Hunt Groups might work until you get to the voicemail workflow, the roaming staff would have no idea there is pending voicemail.

Virtual Lines should be able to be applied to all types of phones.
