Enable Dual Channels for Content using Cisco Meeting Server WebRTC

Currently main video and shared content can only be viewed in a single browser window when using Web App (WebRTC). This is a feature request to allow main video and content to span multiple monitors for the possibility of following use cases:

  1. Allow Active/Important Speaker on Screen 1 and rest of the participants on Screen 2

  2. When content is shared, allow participant video on Screen 1 and Shared Content on Screen 2

  3. Allow two streams for content to be shared by the same user or different users and for those two streams to be received on Screen 1 and Screen 2 respectively (for audio only conference with the possibility to disable viewing main video)

Currently on web app (webRTC), content and Video are 2 separate channels. You can pop-out the content shared and move to Screen-2 while Screen-1 would still show the main video. There are no plans to allow multiple screen sharing channels or break video participants into multiple streams. Will revisit this in later phase
