We frequently encounter situations where all of the Team moderators in a Team have left the company and the remaining participants of the team are unable to assign a new moderator. In many cases, the Team mods were the only members of the team and the rest were participants in subspaces. In those situations users are only able to provide the subspace ID in their tickets. As compliance officers, we need to be able to use the Team ID to assign a new moderator to the General Space when nobody is available to capture the space ID or be promoted via the Update Memberships API. Otherwise we risk having data left exposed to external space participants with no oversight from a company employee and no way to manage membership of the space.
