Additional Voicemail Deletion Policy Options, per location and per line customization

Summary:

Add more options for the voicemail deletion policies. Allow varying policies at the location and extension levels. Allow users to customize their retention to their own preference within defined limits. Exempt saved messages from deletion policies. Allow transcription to external mailboxes. Use email receipts to control message read status, auto deletion.

Detail:

  1. Add an overwrite option that will automatically delete old messages when a mail box is nearly full leaving most recent messages available.

    1. Custom options:

      1. Delete oldest messages first regardless of read/unread state

      2. Delete oldest Read messages then delete oldest Unread

      3. Only messages over # of days old to be overwritten automatically.

      4. Exempt saved messages from overwrite

      5. Notify user / admin when there are no elligible messages to be overwritten and the mailbox is full.

    2. To accomodate the 10/100 minute limits, delete any older messages to leave 10 minutes of available storage. This would effectively adjust mailboxes quota to 90 minutes with 10+ minute buffer for new messages.

  2. VM Retention options are currently an org wide option, These settings should be customizable by location and mailbox.

  3. Add option for user to adjust their own settings if permitted.

    1. set min/max options user can have flexibility within limits defined at the org or location level

  4. WIth strict deletion add the option to reatain messages marked as saved by the user beyond the expiration period.

  5. Add tracscription to external mailboxes

  6. Add read receipt to email VM copies. Automatically mark read or delete voicemails that have been forwarded to an email address using read receipts. Turn off MWI when email read receipt is returned. (This could achieve the external mailbox trascription above)
