For custom settings and softkeys, we can only adopt a standard setting throughout the organization or modify the setting on individual phones one line of text at a time.

We should have the ability to apply custom settings based on some criteria. For instance a phone tagged as "classroom" would get an associated profile that would remove DND and call forwarding options and add some speed dials to the soft keys while presense features would be available for administrators and non-instructional staff. Other criteria could include phone model, IP range, etc. At the very minimum I would like to be able to chose a softkey tempate for each phone without the need to copy and paste strings of text into multiple lines
