Ability to silence notifications for messages that are images only

Certain groups have a high proportion of members who love to communicate via GIFs, which is highly distracting. I still need to monitor these groups for information I need, so I don't want to silence notifications entirely or rely on mentions, but having the ability to block notifications if the only content is an image would solve the problem.
