I want to keep a room in sight so I can easily post & still receive signals (notifications, boldness) for mentions to my name or replies to threads I participated in ; but mute all other activity signals (notification, boldness).

Useful for "support" rooms with high throughput I join as a requester, not helper. Like "helpdesk" rooms.

This would highly help reduce distractions for such rooms, thus limiting context switching & time loss.
