When slowly migrating from UCM to Webex Calling, it would be really handy to have the ability to create multiple virtual extensions (with different extension numbers) for the same phone number (DID).
The specific use case for us, is that we have very few DIDs in our UCM environment; everyone uses DNs. Users who have migrated want to call users who have not, but can't because they don't have a DID. My solution was to provision all our DNs as virtual extensions, pointing to that department's receptionist so that at the very least the calls would go through, not fail. With a limit of one virtual extension per phone number, I cannot make this work.
