Admin Portal - Seach People, Workspace, Devices by phone extention

In Webex Calling admin portal, it would be great to be able to search people, workspaces, devices for an extention.


I know you can search for phone extention in 'admin > calling > Numbers', but it's tedious, and time consuming, and takes many more steps.

    This is going to be supported in a couple of ways. First, the numbers screen is going to have accessible links in the numbers view. So you should have direct links of "assigned" resources to the specific entry (e.g. "John Doe" is in the assigned calling for a number, then you can select John doe). The time frame for this is CY2024.

    In addition, we are extending the user management section of control hub. We are gathering requirements for a custom search capability, which will allow you to search based on phone or extension. And we are also looking at custom columns, so you can add, for example, a "phone number" column to the user management display. Some form of this search/column display is planned for CY2024.

    We do not have an immediate plan to extend these capabilities to the workspace or devices view.
