During a meeting with participants from different languages, countries, sometimes the presence of interpreters is required. It would be beneficial to have a possibility of adding a second audio track in which the interpreters are speaking, without having to wait for them to speak during the regular conversation.
For example, one person speaks in English, the interpreter steps in and translates it into whatever language, then the person who has the turn replies, interpreter translates it back. This adds two steps to a regular conversation, which would not be necessary if we had a separate audio track. The interested party would hear the interpreter with minimum delay, as it is the case where interpreters are involved.
Considering the "new" normal, this feature will be necessary in the near future.
I this request fulfilled by the "Simultaneous Interpretation" feature that was rolling out as part of the 41.10 update to Meetings and Events (new)?

This feature contributes to not only foreign language speakers but also visually impaired attendees who can listen to the sub-audio which explain what's going on in the meeting.

This would have a HUGE impact for public community meetings in diverse neighborhoods, and would make them much more inclusive.
But why stop at 2?
7 for me, please! Similar to what Matt noted in Zoom, but with an option to select to hear only the audio stream that is appropriate for them.

We need this! The way Zoom handles this is very good.
Interpreters and attendees will now be able to click Interpretation in the meeting options and select a language channel.
An interpreter in the channel will hear the original meeting audio which they can translate. Participants in a language channel will hear the translated audio and also the original audio at a lower volume.

This is a big ask for WebEx Event Centre as well.
