Are you asking about searching for phone in Control Hub, via the 'Management >> Devices' page? If so, then phones can be searched for by MAC, in two ways; 1) MAC address characters all together (no separator values) or 2) by separating the MAC address value pairs with colons (e.g. aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff).
