With my Jabra Headset, I can locally mute/unmute my headset (WebEx seems to be unaffected by this control, but that sorta works for me). With my Apple Airpod Pros, which recently got a firmware update to support mute/unmute, I get the Webex message, the device was unable to control webex.
In both cases, I would like the mute function of my headset to trigger the mute/unmute function of webex - as long as this is technically feasible (the above message when using my Airpods suggests it). If not, it would be okay if muting the headset locally at least works (even with Webex unaffected) – I understand this might be something only the headset mfc. can addresse - but if there is anything to make this option work, it would be great.
