Meeting Wide Automatic Gain Control and Output Normalization

Arguably, one of WebEx's most lacking features is proper AGC. Participant dynamic microphone volume never seems to work well or at all. Moreover, the concept of all participants being heard at the same volume does not even exist.

I would like to see proper AGC (Automatic Gain Controls) with proper output normalization so all participants are presented to the meting at large at the same volume.

Automatic gain control adjust your microphone volume and not that of those you are listenting to. We are adopting a new AGC that is commited to a release later this year that will normalize the levels for the soft clients to match that of devices.

I am having the same problem a year after Andrews 2020 post. I don't think WebEx will add normalization. Time to jump ship and go with a different product; I'm searching for one now.

Same issue here, and you can add equalization as well. People talking in a room with area mics give vastly different sound quality than one on a headset. Intelligibility sometimes is non-existant even with adequate "volume".

Agree... this is a hearing preservation issue - I'm on a meeting right now where two speakers have drastically different volume levels and automatic volume control is not doing anything.
