Currently anyone who is forwarded an invite to a Webex Event has all the required information to join that event. I would be interested for sensitive meetings to have an option where (for example) during registration guest attendees are required to provide their mobile number or register their Duo authenticator and are sent/must enter a challenge code as part of the join process.

This would only be for guest attendees outside of our Webex environment, for known people they must login via SSO.

This is obviously very tedious and would only be used for the most important meetings, or for external panelists, however having the additional assurance that a forwarded email isn't enough for an unknow attendee to join a meeting will provide an additional level of security.
