Using Room Bars with Miracast, simply show several times the available WiFi networks on the laptop, this puts the WiFi adapter in scan mode and that seems to be enough to trigger the decision by the operating system to degrade the video quality, even if network conditions are still Ok. The problem is that the laptop’s operating system takes the decision to degrade the video stream, it’s not the bar faults per se. But if the bar would be able to advertise that it does not support the “Dynamic Resolution and Refresh Rate” I presume the video stream bitrate would be steady and we could avoid those degradations.

Not advertising this support means not responding : “microsoft_format_change_capability: supported” in the RTSP setup phase.

This could be an option in the Bar configuration.
