Feature Request Title: Enhanced Reporting for Device Calling Registration Status in Webex Control Hub


Description of the Feature Request: We would like to request an enhancement to the reporting capabilities within the Webex Control Hub. Specifically, we need the ability to view the calling registration status for devices over selectable time frames, including the past 7 days, 30 days, or 1 day.

Business Justification / Use Case: Our organization frequently needs to assess the availability and reliability of our Webex devices. Having the ability to monitor their calling registration status over specific periods helps us identify patterns of disconnection or downtime and address any issues proactively. This is crucial for maintaining high levels of communication and collaboration within our teams.

Current Limitations: As of now, the Webex Control Hub does not provide an option to filter the calling registration status reports by custom time frames such as the past 7 days, 30 days, or 1 day. This limitation requires manual tracking or external tools to assess the performance and reliability of our devices over time, which is time-consuming and inefficient.

Requested Feature Details:

  • A drop-down menu or date-picker within the reporting section to select predefined or custom date ranges (last 7 days, 30 days, or 1 day).

  • The report should include the following details for each device:

    • Device Name/ID

    • Model

    • Registration Status (Registered/Unregistered)

    • Timestamps of status changes

    • Total uptime/downtime within the selected period

  • Exportable and downloadable reports in formats such as CSV, Excel, or PDF.

  • Graphs and visual representations of the data for quick analysis.

Impact of Feature Implementation: Implementing this feature would greatly enhance the operational efficiency of organizations relying on Webex for communication. It would allow IT departments to quickly identify issues, plan maintenance schedules more effectively, and ensure optimal performance of their communication infrastructure.
