Poly Savi 8200 headset/base to ring when using VDI client

Poly Savi 8200 headset/base which has a built in ringer which will ring when they receive a call via Webex, so long as they are signed in on a local device - however, all of our users work primarily on a virtual machine, and when phone services are signed in on the VM using the VDI client, the base does not ring when receiving a call.

Is there a way for me to get the Poly Savi base to ring when receiving a call while signed in to the Webex VDI client
