Voicemail Group Reporting Enhancement


Overview: In response to the need for comprehensive reporting capabilities within Webex Calling, I propose the implementation of a feature that allows users to generate detailed reports showcasing all Voicemail groups and associated information, including email addresses.

Problem Statement: Users currently lack an efficient means to obtain a consolidated overview of Voicemail groups and their associated details, such as email addresses. This limitation poses challenges for administrators and users who need to manage Voicemail settings and ensure proper configuration across various groups within their organization.

Feature Request:

  1. Voicemail Group Report Generation:

    • Introduce a dedicated reporting feature within Webex Calling that allows users to generate a report listing all Voicemail groups configured within the system.

    • Enable users to specify parameters such as date range, organization units, or specific Voicemail groups for inclusion in the report.

  2. Inclusion of Associated Info:

    • Ensure that the generated report includes comprehensive details for each Voicemail group, such as:

      • Voicemail group name and identifier.

      • Associated email address(es) linked to each Voicemail group.

      • Additional configuration settings relevant to Voicemail group management.

  3. Customizable Reporting Options:

    • Provide users with customizable reporting options to tailor the output format according to their preferences and specific requirements.

    • Allow users to select the information fields they want to include in the report, ensuring flexibility and relevance.

  4. Export and Sharing Capabilities:

    • Implement functionality to export the generated report in various formats such as CSV, PDF, or Excel, facilitating easy sharing and further analysis.

    • Enable users to schedule automated report generation and distribution, ensuring regular updates and seamless dissemination of information.
