Enhanced Inactivity Report (Propose an enhancement within the inactivity reports to exclude users from being marked as inactive when they are actively involved in scheduling meetings on behalf of others)

The customer reported a discrepancy where individuals responsible for coordinating and scheduling meetings – specifically executive assistants and secretaries who often schedule on behalf of their managers – are being inaccurately marked as inactive within the system's reports. These users are actively employing the Webex service on a daily basis through Outlook integration and the Productivity Tool, yet this usage is not being reflected accurately in the report.

This misclassification is causing significant difficulty for the customer in monitoring actual platform engagement and distinguishing between active and genuinely inactive accounts.


The customer urgently requested that a feature request be raised and implemented to refine the activity tracking system. The desired enhancement should ensure that the activity reports accurately account for the actions of users performing scheduling tasks on behalf of other individuals.


Addressing this issue is critical for the customers to maintain effective administrative oversight and to accurately gauge the utilization of Webex within their operations. They are keenly anticipating the introduction of this improved functionality to better manage and benefit from the capabilities of the Webex platform.
