Jabber Config Profiles

It would be nice to be able to create separate UC service profiles for Jabber that would allow or deny basic services. As an example, I want some of my PC based users to have phone only service while others have full UC. Or perhaps I would want phone and chat for myiPhone users but not presence or some other combination that I might chose.
A simple check box system of the three components (Phone, Chat, and Presence) that I can turn on and off as necessary or desired and then assigned per user.
Right now, as I understand it from TAC (even with CUCM 12.5) the only way to stop chat or presence is to disable it globally in the IM&P server. That seems like a waste to me to have to have an all or nothing solution when you already have given me the ability to configure desktop and mobile phones differently.
Sure hope that this makes sense.
