Jabber for Windows - Retain and order audio devices

It would be nice if Jabber for Windows remembered all my audio setting and made it possible to have a list I could specify the order in which each device would be connected, much like the video section does in 12.7.

We have laptops and docking stations at each desk. Each time the end use un-docks, Jabber resets the audio device to the sound card on the laptop because it can no longer see the headset that is connected to the docking station.

Some users take their laptops home to telecommute and use a USB headset. Each time they change locations, they have to reset the audio setting to now use either the USB headset or the Savi 700 headset at their desk.

In one case, I have a user with hearing aids that are connected to the laptop via Bluetooth. Each time she walks away from her machine and out of range of Bluetooth connectivity, her audio settings revert back to the audio card on her laptop.

This is all very annoying to have to constantly rearrange the audio setting in Jabber for things to work, especially for those that are "Technically Challenged". Is there any way to retain this information, so that once the headset is seen, it will be automatically selected for use?

Thanks for listing!

We have no plan to implement it in Cisco Jabber, but we will consider it in Cisco Webex App, please migrate to Webex App, if you want this feature
