Administration consistency in creating device profiles aligned with the users device. I have a lot of users that utilize extension mobility, however I find my admin inconsistent in creating the device profile after creating the phone, and then configuring it on the End User profile. I would love it if there was an option in the actions drop down to create an device profile based off an existing physical device, copying the settings, line config, and user information.

Have you tried using the "Quick User/Phone Add" feature?It's been in CUCM since version 9.x and basically allows you to create phone and line templates. When you want to add a phone/EM profile, QUPA will use the user's extension(s) and information to create the DN and phone/profile. Any created profile/phone is automatically associated with the end user (associated device/profile, owner, etc.). We use it for almost every user we add. With the templates set up, it's honestly just a couple clicks to add a device or profile to the user and keeps everything consistent. Even for complicated devices, like our call center staff, it works like a charm (adding all the phone services, extensions, speed dials, recording settings, etc).
