Currently you cannot record breakout rooms even with an alternate host in the room.
I also tried to record locally and the recording will not play.
Lastly my recording for the training session was rendered as a WRF file. Please make this into an MP4 for easier editability.
All other platforms have this. Come on Webex, it is time to catch up and make it better.

Its really causing a divide for my enterprise's end-users to be able to record a meeting/webinar and then not be able to record the breakout sessions within. We do a lot of continuing ed courses through webex and the breakouts are just as important as the main sessions.

I have had this conversation as recently as 15 minutes ago. Not having this capability is extremely problematic. I know this is an older topic but that it is still receiving votes. Any update or feature set roadmap would be useful.

I was fully expecting that my breakout seesions would be recorded and was shocked that this is not possible so far in Cisco Webex. I may have to consider Zoom as an alternative.

Recording in breakout rooms would help us immensely with classes. Hope this is coming soon.

We definitely need to be able to record Webex Trainings as MP4s by default. The conversion process takes too long.
