PoE powered ATA devices

ATA devices that are PoE enabled will allow for analog services in those locations where you may not want to have a wall wart power supply.

It doesn't even have to have 2 analog ports... It could look like a little rectangle box - with just 2 female ends... totally POE, look just like a POE injector (without the extra power cable of course)...c
