Webex Calling Survivability

In the case that you are using your own PSTN and have a Cisco Voice Gateway at your location, it would be great to have Survivability, similar to what already exists with CUCM and SRST. So, that if there is a WAN outage and Webex Calling is not available, you can still place emergency calls and still call internal numbers (at a minimum) without having the dependency of Cell Phones. Yes these days everyone has a Cell phone, but Survivability and Redundancy are critical in some environments. Also, with Webex Meetings becoming FedRamp, this could be an added benefit for getting Webex Calling FedRamp and meeting Survivability for US Government.

Competition has solutions for this today. Example 1. RingCentral Persist, 2. One Voice for Zoom (with Audiocodes SBC) (Survivable Branch Appliance SBA)
