Would it be possible in the future to have a phone number blocking feature added to the Teams client? On mobile phones you are usually able to block individual phone numbers that are suspected SPAM calls and I have had many users ask if this is something that can be done on their Windows desktop client.
Hopefully the blocking feature will be implemented at callmanager and just controlled by Webex app.
Background: Hardphone should not ring either even if Webex app is not online.

This feature is the need of hour for each webex app user who wants to handle such call - block at their own level (instead of relying on their IT support team). This request is present here since year 2020 and currently seems to be in 'planned' status with no date. Cisco should really get serious to incorporate such important features in WebEx App forthcoming versions and announce the date and version in which this will be introduced. Request Cisco to take such ideas serious as it comes from thousands of users.

Wondering on this? I still have to go into CUCM and block calls with a translation pattern. Users don't like to have to submit the numbers into the support team. Would be great if it can be done through Webex / Jabber. Any word on this functionality?

It is crazy that there is no way to block calls from specific numbers. We have engineers on-call after hours. They are turning off their phones during the night due to tow truck forwarding company spam calls. We are going to have to switch to Microsoft Teams voice because they have call blocking!

It is very complicated to block calls from known numbers and restricted numbers. Users have to do this for each known number. On other calling apps or on mobile phones users can tap a button, select Block this number.

After thinking about it, this is so far the only phone system I use today that can't block numbers. Please add this sooner than later.

This is so needed... I am getting called daily from an number and the voicemail consists of burps and other bodily functions, sure would be nice to block this number.

This Feature is indeed needed. Jabber had feature for blocking. We are switching our softphone from Jabber to WebEx Teams
Did Cisco test, they have taken out very important feature?

We're new to WebEx calling and would love to have this feature. My 10+ year old PBX could block numbers. Why can't the latest and greatest from Cisco do the same?

I just received a call from 1-844-989-9543 and it was definitely spam. It might be nice if I could use wildcards to block an entire range: 1-844-***-**** or 1-844-989-****.
