In order to help customers meet the Ray Baum act requirements coming in the next two years, we need Cisco Jabber for Windows/Mac to be integrated with CER such that it will prompt users for their location for E911 purposes and update that information into CER. Currently the only way to update this location information is through the CER website, which for MRA users would require a VPN client connection to access. We cannot in good faith sell customers CER right now if they have a large mobile Jabber workforce.
