Allowing webex and/or webex teams conference participants to automatically mute video of all other participants would be beneficial. Being forced to accept other people's video is a waste of bandwidth. I use webex & teams daily, and I have zero interest in watching someone speak, so I minimize webex/teams or move to another desktop. Then to unmute/mute, I have to switch back. It's an annoying way to overcome an obviously lacking feature. I believe that the developers are misguided in thinking that it will force users to keep their application front and center all day, but it actually has the inverse effect. It forces their application to lose focus and be outside of view.
