This has been a request from time to time with my organization. Learned today about the info in the link below, this met our need on the majority of our devices (those that support the software needed for this to work).

Being able to change the OBTP to show up on a device earlier would be huge, as a person that is responsible for things to be working correctly in the conference rooms. So many different configurations for presentation come our way and having only 5 minutes to ensure it works can be quite troublesome..

We have recently migrated from BlueJeans to Webex and always had the join button show up 15 min prior so that's what our staff is used to, for testing and other purposes. Definitely something we are hoping to change in Webex.

We have many users who need to test our Boardroom CODEC functionality previous to a very large meeting. We have had ongoing problems getting the CODEC to function at times and it has caused problems for our Executive Staff members and others. Sometimes these meetings are public events. Please add this option with an editable time frame of at least up to 30 minutes, or longer.

if can be switched to 10min will be better

Another customer reached out today wanting this feature as it is a common request from their employees.

I am in favor of this option as well to increase the time from 5 min to 15 or 30 min.

we've been waiting quite a while for this feature to be added since the admin response of May 7th, 2021. I, like many here, would find the ability to modify this parameter to be a huge help.

Do we have any timeline when this is coming being a future consideration category ?

We need these ASAP. Customers love Cisco equipment but with these kind of limitations is really hard some time to keep them in the good side of the force.

I can't believe there is still not an ability to change this the benefit it would give outweighs any confusion over meetings being available too early.

Suppose two meetings are needed to be scheduled back-to-back in the same room. Does the 5-minute join option for the second meeting disable? What happens?

Ex: 8-9 am meeting can Join at 7:55 am and goes until 9 am.

Second meetings starts at 9 am. What happens?

Hopefully that 5-minute join on the second meeting is disabled automatically so as to not disturb the active meeting that goes through 9 am.

PMR Meetings have controls available to those who use them and those that do should be making it a point to learn to use those controls to prevent people unintentionally joining their meetings early. On the other side of the scenario which you refer to users with Devices who want to use OBTP who are also in situations where they are asked to join early for a "mic check" or other pre-meeting discussions are left with only one option and that is to use the touch interface of the device to enter in the meeting info after they have located the info on another device such as a mobile device or laptop. This is not a great experience and neither is limiting access to a better experience (OBTP) until just 5-minutes before the scheduled meeting time.

The need for Early OBTP has been stated for well over a year. I don't think concerns over PMR meetings being joined too early are a valid reason to put this feature off.

definitely need to allow more options than 5 min. People need to see and join meetings early.

Did this ever get changed? This is the dumbest thing ever. Real world scenarios would allow the users to decide when and what meetings they join whenever they want. You're giving VIP's heart attacked when they can't see their whole days schedule. You're also not allowing meeting support techs to verify if outside calendar invites came through correctly.

Customer Use case where Execs/PA want to join the meeting ahead of time to prepare before their client joins at the allotted start time.

At least up to 30 minutes, please!

please add a 15 minute option

I think There should be a global option on control hub so that Org can decide whether its 5 min or 15 min or 1 day or Real time.

Any news here? I am also hoping for a max 15min. setting.
