Webex App Presence Enhancements

The Webex app will change your presence status when you join a Webex Meeting or during a direct call, but not when you join a Webex Event or Training as an attendee/participant. Please add support so that presence will sync up to show in a meeting when users attend a Webex Event or Training session.

Also, please add the feature that if a user has a meeting in their calendar, even if its not a Webex meeting, the Webex app will reflect that that the user is in a meeting. Right now we have users that may have a meeting with a partner/vendor that use Zoom or MS Teams and yet the Webex app will show Active / Available even though they are in a meeting. Once offices reopen and people have in-person meetings in conference rooms, we also need the Webex app to reflect that the user is in a meeting based off what is in their Outlook calendar.

    Webex Presence Sync with Microsoft Teams,and this feature is on the roadmap for the 2nd half of 2022.

    Is there any update on this? This is a painful experience when only a Webex joined meeting changes the status, so an in person meeting, Teams meeting, etc continues to show you available and you receive calls, IM, etc during them since Webex won't even allow you to change your status manually to in a meeting....
