OPTION TO CHANGE FONT SIZE & COLOR

I am extremely surprised that having a variety of font sizes and font colors wasn't considered more of an important feature when creating WebEx. I like to make the font larger so it isn't so difficult to see the messages. Also, I have trouble separating the messages that I send vs what I receive from my colleagues. Of course having the option to change to different font colors come in handy. This would be an AWESOME upgraded change!!

It would be nice if this feature is considered please. Having colour option allows us to highlight the font in order to emphasise point within the group chat.

We have shipped the feature to increase font size in August release (42.8). Updating this jira to mark as shipped. For font colors we have added it to our backlog.

Adjusting font size is planned. Adjust font color is a future consideration.

Upgrading this request to "planned" is a step in the right direction.

    Is there a projected timeline?

The small font size significantly limits the utility of the messaging feature.

Please implement the font controls (at least size & color controls) into the Webex app. I use the Webex app for multiple, concurrent collaboration sessions and see a massive sea of textual information daily.

For myself, I've observed it is much easier to detect size, shape & color variations. I've missed key information in conversations due to text "blending" with no "emphasis".

The font controls provide another UX dimension a majority of people could use to enhance their collaboration exchanges.

Links are colored blue, but not underlined. I consider it more important that vision-impaired users can make links appear underlined than in fruity-tooty colors. YMMV.

I have vision issues and want to increase the font size in Messages window. I am completely shocked this is not already a feature!

My org just switched from Skype. In Skype I could elect to have my viewing pane display in one of four font sizes, without forcing that change on other messaging users. It was local to my monitor in my settings. I have a vision accommodation, but Webex cannot meet my needs. What am I and my EEO office to do? Even this dialog box has more options than the paid software package. Color, font, highlighting.

Seems like such a basic function - even from Apps of 1990's.
    Very disappointing.

Please add the ability to resize text inside of WebEx. The font size thats forced is not large enough for some users.

I'm unable to log in to vote because I am a business user with an extremely large corporation but I agree. Webex developers, please consider adding at least the ability for users to change their font color as an upgrade. It's extremely hard to quickly identify messages among colleagues in group chats etc. The corporation is ending our use of Skype very soon and moving all users to Webex chat and it's the #1 complaint I hear.

Where do we stand with this?

I Agree. Color and font size seem to be something you'd expect in a modern messaging platform. Especially in an age where desktop users need 3 27"wide res monitors to get work done.

if everyone can increase the size of the font then every message will be huge, as each individual issue may be considered critical to the application team who is experiencing it, even if that issue is only impacting that single particular app team. I think its a good idea to NOT have the ability to increase font size.

Given webex already supports Markdown, might it be possible to extend it to allow a limited subset of HTML - e.g. just span with some specific CSS attributes for color support. Most markdown parsers will allow most HTML by default, so it might be an easy win. It would be a matter of sanitizing HTML/css that is deemed too expressive.

I would like to add my vote to this feature request... I was surprised this is not an option!

I agree. Simple thing such as the ability to change font size of Webex Meetings chat window should be an ESSENTIAL FEATURE! Even Zoom platform has it. No wonder they are fast gaining market share in terms of user friendliness.

I also want to express that this is very important. I am a technology employee for a large telecommunications enterprise and I have some individuals that have medical needs for larger font. Even more frustrating, is that if you try to resolve this in Windows 10 scaling features, these options do not affect the WebEx chat output. This will continue to be an issue for several members of my company, as well as many other professionals that may be hindered by the lack of readability and their optical needs.

    Please make this a PRIORITY.
