Would like to request the ability to restrict who can schedule room resources for a workspace. In our environment, we support Outlook calendar integration and are taking advantage of the OBTP feature. However, we do have one Board Room that we would like to restrict who can book that room resource/workspace and limit it to our executive administrative assistants only.
We are currently testing a workaround by using delegates in Outlook, providing the ability to restrict the users who can book a workspace to either all or a limited access list would be most helpful.
Isn't this achievable in Exchange config?
Yes, it is by using the delegates. The executive assistants are assigned as delegates for these rooms we want to restrict scheduling. When someone books a the room they get a notification and can approve/deny the request. It seems to be working ok for the most part so far.
