Webex Teams Space - Rules of engagement header message

Group spaces are typically set up for specific purposes. For example, in a Team concept for a support group, there may be spaces set up for specific purposes with some participant overlap:

  1. Support Team: Day to day support team requesting assistance, sharing trends of the day, providing a heads up on availability.

  2. Improvements: Space for sharing improvement opportunities and collaborating

  3. Escalations: Space including management to be aware of higher priority incidents or escalations

When the spaces are set up, the moderator may try to establish the rules of engagement and purposes of the spaces. However, it can quickly become the wild west that becomes difficult to enforce.

By including a multi-line Space description field [optional] that would exist in the banner of the space, moderators would have an opportunity to quickly define the purpose of the space and the purpose would be reinforced as it is visited.

    Admin response

We are looking to add this as a prerequisite for public spaces.

It would also be great if this description field could include hyperlinks, for example to include a link to process documentation, on-call schedule, group OneNote, etc.
