Automatic CUCM synchronization with IDP in case of federationmetadata.xml update

When federationmetadata.xml is updated, it needs to be manually changed on the CUCM which cause downtime.


This is an enhancement request for adding a feature on the CUCM which allows it to fetch the new federationmetadata.xml from the IDP when the file is updated.

    Additional details can be found in enhancement request CSCvw59938 and in case SR 690200466.

    After the certificate are regenerated on the IDp, you have to export the new metadata file and update it on the CUCM.

    Please make sure that the new metadata file contains only the new certificate as CUCM doesn’t support multiple certificates in metadata.
