Improve meeting launch experience when clicking on meeting URL in Outlook Calendar

Is Cisco exploring any options to possibly improve the user experience for anyone clicking on a Webex link (i.e., from an Outlook calendar invite) to have it trigger the Webex app instead of the browser first?

It is understood that the Webex link is just a URL and Windows, Mac, Outlook is just doing the native trigger for any URL. It's also understood this is the same behavior with other URLs such as Zoom, etc.

From a user experience point of view, is Cisco working on anything to remove the additional layer of opening the browser first and simply trigger the Webex app and join the meeting seamlessly? If so I would like to hear about it. Thanks.

When users have a lot of meetings throughout the day, this method of joining opened up several tabs in their browser for each meeting.

P.S. I know that launching it from the Webex app, Webex Meetings desktop app, notification pop-up, etc. will not trigger the browser. The question is specific to users clicking on the URL.
