Offer standalone client for Webex Calling

As customers move to cloud based phone systems like Webex calling they need a client app that will just offers phone and voicemail service. The Webex app is great but not all companies are ready to give up their current MS Teams or Slack environment for the Webex app. Rather than supporting an additional collab platform most businesses will shy away from putting their phone system into Webex Calling in favor of just moving to MS Teams phone or a third party, standalone app. Alternatively, you could have a way to offering the Webex app as an MRA client they Jabber is.

In Calling In Webex App (UCM), you can deselect feature licenses assigned per-user in Control Hub to give "just" UCM Calling if you wish. This removes all other tabs from the user's view in the client and "look" like a standalone Calling client.

I am not familiar if Webex Calling environment gives you that same option on a per-user basis.

There is an advantage to only distributing and supporting one commonly used client for the multiple head-end types. It would be nice if you could get the same effect we are getting with settings in our on-premises Webex App + Register to Unified Communications Manager (UCM) license tick.

Perhaps a good solution could be create and integration in MS Teams for the Calling app, like the already existent with webex teams or webex meetings. As webex offers the same functionalities as MS Teams, the integration adds confusion to the user.

They use to have a standalone application called Webex Calling, however last yeah they created Webex Teams (All in One) and then in October they renamed Webex Teams to Webex.
