When Webex and Jabber are both in session, the new feature would be able to reconize which application should be muted/unmuted. Jabber and Webex are using the same audio input/output device on personal devices but should be able to simitatiously correct the microphones due to the user preferences. When Webex/Jabber automatically changes to muted/unmuted this introduces a lot of noise into the meeting unintentionally.
