Bring the Windows Client SDK back into prodution

Now that you are pushing out the Webex client at the start of a meeting (previously Webex teams) rather than delivering half a dozen different applications to the user base the ability to integrate successfully to your client becomes practical.

Previously, trying to keep up to all the different flavours of your client apps being shipped was a full time job for a developer with something always being broken. We tried with little success.

Now, we should be able to successfully support the vast majority of Windows users joining Webex meetings in the same fashion that we do with Zoom. i.e. Provide login with cached credentials or SSO, trigger logout, integrate with chat, enable/disable audio/video devices.

My understanding is that you currently have an SDK for Webex Teams that is NOT being actively supported or advertised. Now that you have fixed your model for Windows Application use this SDK is a real asset and our organization would love to be able to integrate with your client and offer that automation to our end users.

Please consider bringing your SDK back into production.

Thanks,

Robert

    Hello Olivier,

    I would love to elaborate.

Whenever I post organizational details I always get pounced on by customers, partners and internally.

We are in over 25k meeting rooms currently providing integration to multiple conferencing platforms including Webex.

If you could ping me with your email address. I would be happy to provide any detail you might be interested.

Our use cases are end customer requirements and we have the ability to exercise your the Windows API across a breadth of customers. We have been doing this with the Zoom API and our customers appreciate the integration. It improves the experience of the conferencing platform for them. Webex being one of the big three, being able to provide similar levels of integration is something our Webex conferencing customers always ask for.
