There is no global setting to disable ultrasound discovery globally. Users can disable it in the Webex App manually but this is not a solution for nonpersistent VDI environments
Customer wants the option to disable the option during deployment because Windows shows the microphone in use off a call.
@shijie I can still see it and have never seen an option to disable this globally. I am running Webex for Broadworks v41.10
The ultrasound discovery, even the whole device tab were hidden by default after 41.8.
Agree with this, but have also received complaints that Webex is using the microphone when not on a call. This has raised security/privacy concerns.
