I am new to WebEx (Feb 2024) ao nd see that this feature (to turn this mute/unmute beep off or on) was added before now ... but it does not work! I cannot get the beep to go away!!! The check box for this is located in the individual WebEx Meetings settings under Notifications > Meetings > Mute or Unmute > check box for "Play a beep when I mute or unmute myself".
Can this please be fixed???

Atleast please share the path to the sound file so that we can delete or replace it with some light sound please?

An absoluet useless and annoying beep... this beep is so harsh as if someone is needing down in my ears especially while using earphones / headphones... Need this feature ASAP or atleast please remove this annoying beep.

To add to the discussion, my dog (a fearful rescue) is also afraid of this sound. She leaves the room when I hit the button (I promise it's not me talking, it's the beep sound because she comes back after I've been talking for a while or doesn't leave when it's a meeting I'm always unmuted for). She also stays for Microsoft Teams meetings, which do not have this beep sound. Please consider/implement this quickly!

This needs more votes. The Mute/Unmute Beep is extremely annoying. I was looking for the option in the interface for quite a while before finally googling for the location of the settings, only to end up here in the disappointment that I can't disable that damn sound. Please FIX this, it's an extremely negative user experience.

Team, please value the feedback of customers or the users raising their concerns here, kindly remove that beep sound of Mute or unmute, it is very disturbing in the meetings or training sessions.

Don't implement anything, just remove the notification sound feature on mute/unmute. Easy as it is said.

I see the request is raised from users already several months ago...however it is not yet fixed. In our company, then we will switch to other online meeting...

Seems like totally nobody cares at Cisco-Webex to fix this issue..then why we should keep having subscription if there is no customer service...

Please remove the beep sounds on toggling mute/unmute it's actually unbearable.

Can you please implement this it would be relatively straightforward to implement and way less annoying. Why would you leave this behaviour like this when folks are openly telling you this is the reason they're switching to zoom? Do you even have a product manager?

How is this still not fixed? It's awful.

This is by far the worst idea anyone has come up with for a meeting application, and I'm not sure why anyone choses to use this application over Zoom/Google/Teams or ANY other one that exists because of it. WTF were they thinking? And others CAN hear it because I do not use a headset for output. Please remove this.

Please give the option to turn on or off, and lower.

Still hearing the mute beep in all of my recorded meetings.. extremely annoying that I can't turn this off.

This is the worst anti-feature

I switched my department to Zoom because of this annoying BEEP

beep noise can be heard every time someone entered or exited the meeting and is all through our recording even though as a host, I disabled this in the cisco web site and desktop app. Why is this? I wouldn't consider this a feature!
