video endpoint devices are automatically named and added to the directory. The default naming method is: <name of the video endpoint owner> + <model name of the endpoint device>. Most users really like to rename their devices to something more useful like: <name of the video endpoint owner> + <site name>.

It would be more logical to call “John Doe – Home Office” instead of “John Doe DX80”
