Webex calendar should be refreshed automatically when the meeting is started

Webex calendar is not synchronizing automatically on iPad iOS and Android mobile applications. Users have to refresh the calendar manually to check if the meeting is started or not. In addition, the join button becomes visible only after the meeting is started and the calendar on the application is refreshed (either manually or by closing and re-opening the app).

This behavior is different for Windows desktop application which provides a better user experience. Windows app enables the join button x minutes (notification timer) before the scheduled time regardless of whether the meeting is started or not. If the meeting is started before the scheduled time, it refreshes the calendar automatically which allows users to join the meetings by just clicking the join button on the calendar.

For iOS and Android mobile apps, the behavior of the webex calendar should be similar to the Windows desktop application. At least, the calendar should be refreshed automatically when the meeting is started or a notification should appear on the screen. Otherwise, users might think that the meeting has not been started yet.

Please, check the case notes for more details. (SR 689306527)
